U R UP 4 IT January Challenge 2020 is designed to get you off the couch and into fitness in a simple, effective method that will become habit forming, enhancing your life and giving you a platform of achievable targets which progress as your fitness improves. No equipment required, all can be completed indoors in your own home and need no specific fitness expertise - ITS FREE AND IT WILL WORK!
Designed to get you started, no need to do any extra, it builds each day and you will be , fitter, faster, stronger and more confident come the start of February

BEAMFIT

GR8 NEWS FOR OUR BEAMERS - Due to the Thursday class filling up, the old theatre ay Hoburne Doublebois being re named 'BEAMFIT HOUSE' - we are this Saturday starting a morning Beamfit class, starts at 10am and finishes 11am - at the moment we have no requirement for places to be booked as regular club members let us know availability - however if a class is to be your first then let us know you are coming along so we have a beam for you, we don't stack places high, we want you to gain maximum benefit form your exercise so class numbers are kept to a maximum of 12.

£5 per session, pay at session start

The Saturday class will be same as our Thursdays with gymsticks, mat pilates and various routines used to keep every session different and varied.

From 2020 all Nordic Walks by Lesu with Doublebois Polers will also include our own effort to have a cleaner planet and we will be Launching 'HELP MOTHER' No matter how small the item each ember of the Nordic Walk will pick up one item during every club meeting and it will be collected in a rucksack and disposed of in the correct way of re cycling. It has become more obvious as the past year has has gone on that even in a Rural location in Cornwall we have a problem with stupid….yes I said stupid, and also ignorant people throwing its from cars and there are no grass verges which do not have rubbish in them. Why not join in too, no need to sign up, no need to advertise it, just DO IT! every time you are out and about, on a trail or a beach, just pick up one item - its that easy.. We have also designed a new T which is in our store, remember teemill support the cleaning of plastics from our oceans and…..

Our Circular Economy Every year 100 billion new items of clothing are produced while a truck full of clothing is burned, or buried in a landfill every second. Slowing fast fashion down a bit won't fix it. But when we take the waste material at the end, and make new products from it at the start, it changes everything. That's what we've done. Our products and packaging are made from natural materials, not plastics. Every product is designed to be sent back to us when it is worn out. We make new products from the material we recover, and the cycle itself is renewable. Our products can be returned and remade again and again and again. A pure material makes remanufacturing possible, and means products that are softer, and harmless to the environment.

Our latest T designs have just hit the store, less hoods and more T's is what you asked for so here are with two of our latest, by changing the collection every few weeks with a new design you will always have something new to wear, look at and to get looked at!!

Our last Nordic Walk and Beamfit session of the year have now taken place and we are looking forward to 2020 when we will re start - glad its only 2 weeks away!!

January can feel like a miserable month after the festive celebrations, back to work, colder, seemingly darker and only the prospect of a sprinkling of snow to beak the monotony

It doesn't and shouldn't be all doom and gloom, start the year with a new plan for yourself, be selfish and make it a 'Me time' - if you can get someone to join with you the it 'our time' Use it well, use it often and make it count, seeing it simple,

1. not always a need to find something new, just do it differently, ie walk further, a little faster, be more dedicated and don't miss any sessions

2. don't think about cutting the sugar intake, cut it down slowly

3. don't totally stop the alcohol - we all like to relax in our own way so just restrict to once per week

4. drink more water - probably THE BEST thing you an do, make a note on your phone each time you have a glass

5. chill and relax a bit more, take the time to just sit, feet up - n the quiet, watching tv or listening to music

6. spoil yourself a little more, don't 'like' the item in the shop, go get it

7. keep any changes small and simple, you will have more chance of achieving and starting the year in a positive way.

8. smile and say 'hello' to a stranger once per week when you are out and about, make your day and theirs
