The very first Xmas Nordic Walk with Doublebois Polers Club was a gr8 day, stopping traffic on the v busy A38 where cars stopped to allow us to cross the road. Many, many cars tooted horns and took pictures, adults and children waving, it was a party atmosphere where smiling faces were all we seen, only a short 3.5k walk to the Highwayman in Dobwalls, dinner and refreshments before we got an unexpected and thankful lift for the return after a huge deluge of a hailstorm hit, well done guys, thnkyou to this who arrived pre walk and in the pub afterwards….a gr8 start to Xmas…………….
