The past 2 meetings of db Polers club have seen us for a fitness session at Doublebois and an Adventure walk in and around Tideford Cross - Alans escape.

Doublebois was our 'The hill' session where we all push out the pace, a cuppa and a chat at the end with weather being good was well received - Alans Escape was a fantastic Nordic walk on route devise by him - weather was as the forecast said for all of the walk except for 15 mins when we were hit by hail storm - we realised when finished it had only happened on our route! Next Adventure this sunday is our first 6hr session - Lostwitiel to Fowey, along the river Fowey, taking linch for the route, it should be another classic!! (9/May)

Lesu oldest nordic walker is now Pat Brock - at 87 she has had a new lease of life around here hometown of Padstow and is now walking roads and pathways that she hasn't for many years, the power of the poles being unleashed to improve confidence and fitness, way to go Pat - I will have a pic of her in next blog.

Our nordic walking 'long Term' plan has been adjusted, we have a lot of circular routes on Sundays, remember i am planning a club for weekdays who will be going at a slightly slower pace.

Confidence seems to be returning to the public with courses and taster sessions being booked - only the cold weather is holding some back - on line sessions with db Fitness club continue to go strength to strength and personal Training clients are progressing fitness and raising the bar!
